Ancient dwelling located a few kilometres away from the built up area of Modica, renowned late baroque town of the "˜Val di Noto' (valley of Noto), which has been declared world heritage by the UNESCO. The estate is made up of a nearly 720 sq. m manor house, two 130 sq. m outhouses and of a nearly 2150 sq. m courtyard. The villa is a two-storied one. At the lower floor - which has a big entrance divided right in the middle by two arches - there is a large entrance hall, the library, a dining room with an imposing stony fireplace, the ancient kitchen - in disuse by now - with the wood baking oven. A linear stairs, situated in correspondence with one of the two arches of the entrance, gives access to the noble floor.
State and finish
This ancient villa in the pretty late neoclassic style was built at the beginning of the twentieth century and owing to its historical importance has been declared a building of architectural interest by the councillorship of the cultural heritages of the Sicilian Region.
